The Crusher is a primary weapon which uses ammo instead of energy. Crusher is a unique shotgun type weapon capable of dealing massive damage at close range while also being effective from afar as projectiles will not lose damage as they travel. The upgrades for the Crusher turn this into one of the most destructive weapons in the game. Multiplayer version of the crusher is a modified version of the Base version.
Base: Semi-auto high-powered wide blast. Uses 6 Ammo per shot.
Plus (+): Reduced firing delay (~10%)
Extra Damage (DX): Higher damage (~20%) and impact force (~10%), and reduced firing angle (~15%)
Automatic Fire (AF): Automatic alternating fire, with a reduced firing angle (~15%). Also damage, Ammo use, and force per shot is about half that of plus, with refire delay being about 1/3rd.

ANOTHER RUBBLE-ANNIHILATION PROJECT, BUILT IN DIRECT COMPETITION WITH THE FLAK CANNON. THE CRUSHER UNDERWENT MANY REVISIONS DURING ITS DEVELOPMENT, WITH ONE ENGINEER LAMENTING THAT THEY WERE ESSENTIALLY TRYING TO BUILD A "FANCY SHOTGUN" WHILE CALLING THE FLAK "BROKEN FIREWORKS". NEITHER WAS FOUND TO BE DEMONSTRABLY SUPERIOR, AND BOTH TEAMS INSISTED THE COMPETING-PROJECTS INITIATIVE CREATED MORE PROBLEMS THAN IT SOLVED, SO IT WAS SCRAPPED IN 2116.
